Film festival "Cinema to the Country"

"Cinema to the Country" is a film festival addressed to Estonian rural areas. The programmes will be shown by cultural and educational institutions across Estonia, in almost every county.

"Cinema to the Country" grew out of the Priit Pärn Animated Film Festival's programme with the same name and this year it will take place for the second time.

This year, the festival will focus on animation and Heiki Ernits who celebrates his 65th birthday this year. In addition, Rein Maran's latest documentary "Young Peeter at Laanetaguse" is in the programme.

There are eight main programmes and one sub-festival, animation training and
competition for schoolchildren and recruits.

The entrance is free.

"Cinema to the Country" also bears the quality label Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe (EFFE) for the period 2015-2018.
