Intsikurmu festival 2018

Intsikurmu is a festival of music and art, where people with different backgrounds who share common values find inspiration for some new creative initiatives.

Clean nature, good music, lovely people, high-quality food and drinks, an aesthetically pleasing festival area, special solutions, and performances – this makes up for the largest festival of arts and music in Estonia, the Intsikurmu Festival.

Festival in 2018:

Intsikurmu festival offers 3 stages and more than 30 artists.

Intsikurmu festival will be held for the sixth time this year. The festival will take place on August 3-4 at the Intsikurmu Forest Park and will host over thirty artists from Estonia and elsewhere.

The two-day festival includes already an impressive selection of foreign artists: British sound artist Ghostpoet, US rapper and bounce music artist Big Freedia, eclectic US multiinstrumentalist Conner Youngblood, hip hop music producer Suff Daddy with The Lunch Birds experimental orchestra from Berlin, electronic audiovisual project Oligarkh from Moscow, Hungarian band Mörk that tests the boundaries of pop and jazz music, and the Latvian trio Audience Killers.

Different music genres are presented by various Estonian musicians: jazz talent Kadri Voorand with guitarist Andre Maaker, indie band Levski, pop musician Rasmus Rändvee, instrumental abstract duo Maarja Nuut & HH, dreampop ensemble Pia Fraus, beloved singer and songwriter Mari Jürjens, psychedelic folk musician Eeter, jew's harp popularizer Meisterjaan, one of the most renowned and charming rappers of Estonia, Reket, and 12EEK Monkey, a hip-hop project founded by Põhjamaade Hirm and Genka.

The list of musicians is not yet final.

In addition to the carefully selected musical programme, the festival will showcase the light and video installations and art objects that highlight the magic of the forest park. There will be also a street food area with tasteful choices (from the stone oven pizzas to the fish restaurant, vegetarian and vegan menus) and forest restaurants with table service. The younger visitors of the festival can enjoy the children's area. This year, there will be two camping sites for the first time.
